Welcome to 1st Grade
Hello 1st graders, I am so excited about the coming school year! The theme for this year will be "Diving into 1st grade". It will incorporate the use of my favorite animal the penguin. Every week the spelling words and Boys Town skill will be posted here.

1st Grade Supply List
First Grade
4 Single subject notebooks Wide Ruled
1 Box Crayons 16 or 24 count
1 Pkg. Dry Erase Markers (bullet or Chisel tip)
1 Pink Medium eraser
4 Pocket Folders
1 4oz school glue
2 Glue Stick
6 #2 Pencils; no mechanical or plastic wrap pencils
1 School Box
1 5” blunt scissors
3 Boxes of tissues
One old white sock
1 Pkg. 100 count 3x5 lined index cards
Optional-Package of white copying paper
All students’ kindergarten through 6th grade will need headphones or earbuds for the
computer lab (for sanitary reasons) and also at least a 1GB Flash drive. The school will have
2GB Flash Drives available for $8. Flash drives need to be at least 1GB, you may purchase
larger ones if you want. These lists are subject to change throughout the year as projects
arise. Students may need to replenish materials as needed. Please make sure you child’s
name is on all their supplies and belongings
